Scheduling this meeting series to facilitate delivery of HL7 Vulcan’s new FHIR project: API Exchange for Medicinal Product Information (APIX).

Project Objective:

Deliver a FHIR Implementation Guide (IG) that describes an
API-first framework for exchanging medicinal product information. APIX aims to standardize data exchange between stakeholders like regulators, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical companies, enhancing interoperability and enabling efficient, real-time data
sharing. The IG will include specifications for Transaction Bundles and APIs, ensuring consistent implementation and integration across systems.

Standing agenda:

Review project plan (scope, deliverables, timeline to ballot the FHIR IG)Define the content of the FHIR Implementation Guide. Particularly, (1) Transaction Bundle profile; (2) API capabilities; and (3) recommended architectureDevelop testing and implementation plans
